RSS / Network compositions allow for the receipt and transmission of various forms of data. From Really Simple Syndication, through to TCP/IP protocols, by way of OpenCV and other similar frameworks, Quartz Composer compositions allow for the generation and visualization of network receipted data.

One cannot combine Image Filter protocol with any other protocol based composition although RSS/Network based compositions can combine any other protocol than Image Filter.
