All files require Kineme GL Tools 1.2 or higher unless otherwise stated.
All .qtz files will work only when using iTunes music visualizer protocol. Please install to ~/Library/Compositions .
These QC files have not been tested against 10.4, except in runtime, for best performance run on 10.5.
Use Ctrl + Click on the text label link to save linked QC file to Downloads folder.
Safari does not support audio input within Quartz Composer files, but then again the movies are already audio synced and the .qtz files are meant to be used in iTunes on Mac OS X, so go fish, go figure :-).
It has also lately come to my attention that these examples might fail to work properly on other 10.5 Macs.
These works were produced with a beta version of the GL Tools plugin that updated the GL objects , making them unrenderable with version 1.1.
They still make for good study items and should work perfectly well if you have the current installation of Kineme GL Tools installed.
I have made short movie clips showing these in action, pretty much as they were intended to be. All are synced to audio.
Just click on the thumbnail to view the clip and click on the label download link to get the .qtz file.
There is currently a known problem with running QTPro MP4 files on Windows. Cybero is aware of this and shall be seeking to provide a cross platform friendly solution.
In the meantime go this page to see the YouTube embedded Flash video versions of some of these tracks.
Finally, both Flow Audio and Flow Filter Scanner Quartz Composer compositions require the installation of the free of charge Noise Industries patches. The movie files, however, merely require that you have installed a movie player capable of handling H.264 .mov videos.
All visualizers are published under the Free Document Licence - Enjoy - all require the installation of Kineme GL Tools
