In this tutorial, we'll be looking at how we can bring audio into a Quartz Composer file, rendering audio interactive graphics directly , without using the Music Visualizer protocol, thanks to the support of Kineme Media's Audio Tools plugin for Quartz Composer. Initially we need to see how we can set up the Audio Tools patches in Quartz Composer, prior to presenting that file to Quartz Crystal and finally to GarageBand, for mixdown and export, which we'll look at in close detail in the second part of this tutorial series.
